Hi,  I am fairly new to Second Presbyterian Church.  I began serving this church in November of 2006.  Before coming here I served three other churches as a Director of Christian Education.    I am very excited about my position here at Second.  My title is Director of Ministries for Children and Adults, which means I can spend all my energy for children and their parents.  

When children come to Second Pres. I want them to feel welcomed, special, and loved. I want children to know they are important members of the church.  I hope that they see that Children really are FIRST at SECOND.

I also want children to enjoy being at church.  (This is another great thing about my job, I get to play.)  You can read more about the fun stuff we do on the children’s page.

I am originally from Stone Mountain, GA.  I graduated from Berry College in Rome, GA with a degree in Consumer and Family Sciences.  This is the perfect degree to help me create crafts and plan dinners for more than a 100 people.

Sometimes it feels like I use the knowledge from this degree more than my M.Div. from Columbia Seminary  

My husband, Doug, and I have three children, Kaylee, Robyn, and Ronnie.  They keep us quite busy.  When we are not running between school functions, church activities, horseback riding, dance lessons,  etc…. we love to spend family time at home playing and sometimes resting.
