Children come first at Second Presbyterian. We care for God's youngest followers, and they teach us that "Jesus loves me." Children always find a safe place, a welcoming caregiver, and an atmosphere of love, safety, and fun. 

 Childcare is provided during Worship and Church School and on Wednesday nights at Second Wind. Childcare is also provided whenever requested for any other church activity.  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

 The church also reaches out to the children and parents of our church and our local community through two special programs, Parents Day Out every week and Smiley Camp in the summer. And our Weekday School is a great ministry to children in our community.

Childcare During Worship Services

Caring staff and bright, clean rooms help ensure a calm and rewarding experience for both parent and child.

8:30 a.m. Worship: Childcare is provided for children ages birth through 5 years.

11:00 a.m. Worship: Childcare and Christian activities that begin to teach them favorite stories of the Bible are provided in the following groups:

Infants - One year olds - Two year olds - Three year olds

Sacred Space, a very special worship program, is offered for children ages 4 years old through kindergarten during the 11 a.m. worship service.

Church School

While adults and older children enjoy their Church School classes, our youngest children enjoy a happy environment too, with songs, games, Bible stories, and activities geared to their age levels.
